Southern California Conference for Undergraduate Research (SCCUR)
SCCUR is a day-long interdisciplinary conference, at which undergraduates present
their research, scholarship, and creative work in 15-minute oral presentations,
research posters, and creative performances/exhibitions. It is hosted by a different
institution each year, and it is attended by well over 500 undergraduates and
their faculty mentors, representing the arts, sciences, humanities, and social
sciences at 80-100 different academic institutions. The seventeenth annual SCCUR
conference will be held Saturday, November 17, 2007, at California State University,
Los Angeles.
Registration for SCCUR is open to all. Presentation is by invitation, following
a process of abstract submission and review by local college and university
faculty in the represented disciplines. Abstracts will be submitted electronically
to the conference website, beginning later this summer, with a deadline in early
October, 2007. For more conference details including information on abstract
preparation and submission, please visit http://www.sccur.org/.
