ABSTRACT
Limit text of abstract to 250 words or less. Your abstract should summarize your research or creative project, beginning with the hypotheses or plan, followed by the methodology and ending with your conclusions or anticipated results. It should be written for the non-specialist. Please do a spell-check, with attention to technical or specialized words that are not found in standard dictionaries. Look up sample abstracts in professional journals for your field to get ideas for the content of your abstract. Of course, your mentor will also provide guidance on preparing an abstract that is appropriate to your field.
